    A special congratulations to Mel and Bandit on all their success. 
            Their accomplishments are really impressive when you consider that they only competed for the first half of the year.  They entered a total of 6 USEA events, collecting 1 first, 3 thirds, 1 fifth and 1 sixth. 

            During the summer, they were offered the chance to carry the horn, so for the rest of the year, they took a hiatis from eventing and concentrated on working the hounds.
